In 2019, Bromley Youth Music Trust (BYMT) celebrates 25 years as an Independent Trust but needs your help to continue the work it does with children and young people, as well as adults.
Formerly funded by the local authority, Bromley Youth Music Trust needs £600,000 annually to operate and now has to apply for funding from grants. We rely heavily on the generous support of our Patrons to improve and extend the service we offer. In addition, our Young Musicians’ Fund (YMF) enables children to participate in all BYMT activities, either at a subsidised rate, or free of charge if they meet the eligibility criteria. We typically have over 200 children benefitting from this scheme each year.
Ongoing and regular donations can make a huge difference to the service we provide to the young musicians in Bromley. To download a Standing Order Form and become a BYMT patron please click here.
If you are a UK tax payer click here so that we can add a further 25% to your donation by claiming gift aid from the government.
CEO, Bromley Youth Music Trust
"As a former musician I know the value of involvement with music and I am very keen that young people from all backgrounds have this opportunity. BYMT does a magnificent job in delivering this, giving young people memories that will endure for their lifetime."
Hon. Alderman Ernest Noad, BYMT Patron
"We believe that BYMT provides an invaluable service. The excellent quality of the teaching offered, together with their ethos of inclusiveness, are the reasons why Liberata is proud to be associated with them."
Gerwyn Baker, Managing Director BPO Services, Liberata
"As parents, we think the Patrons' Scheme is a wonderful way to contribute to a fantastic Trust which provides outstanding opportunities for young people."
Paul & Paula Bacon, BYMT Patrons
"We are deeply thankful that our daughter discovered BYMT many years ago, heralding a lifetime of involvement in music. We know that as Patrons our regular donation helps children who would otherwise not be able to afford lessons to follow their musical dreams."
