Filmbox presents Archives Film with Live Musical Accompaniment

VENUE: Langley Peforming Arts Centre, Langley Park School for Boys
DATE: Wednesday 28 June 2017
TIME: 19:45

Journey through the decades of London's outer boroughs on film, featuring fascinating archival footage of Bromley and wider London, accompanied by professional live musical accompaniment. This screening will feature the best of films collected for London’s Screen Archives’ hugely successful 3-year Heritage Lottery Funded project London: A Bigger Picture, many of which have been unseen for decades.

A little bit more about the project and the film screening: London's Screen Archives is working with Bromley Local Studies and Archives along with 15 other borough archives to collect, preserve and screen film material of 15 of the outer boroughs of London; providing communities access to their social history on film. This exclusive screening is about 1 hour long and is suitable for all ages.
