BYMT wishes to appoint a freelance fundraising consultant to help the organisation grow its income from grant-making bodies,particularly charitable trusts and foundations, statutory sources and National Lottery distributors. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record of fundraising from a range of sources, including arts and non-arts funders, be an excellent communicator and able to think strategically and imaginatively.

We are seeking proposals from consultants who can work with our staff and trustees to map out a concrete strategy that will develop BYMT's ability to raise funds from grant-making bodies. The consultant will also identify potential funders for BYMT's current and planned work and begin the process of developing and submitting proposals to selected funders.
We are interested in receiving proposals from consultants with:
Demonstrable experience of securing funding from grant-making bodies, particularly in the music/arts sectors.
Experience developing and supporting fundraising in charities whose size and resources and/or work is comparable to BYMT.
A strong track record in producing high-quality successful fundraising proposals.
The ability to offer creative solutions to fundraising challenges.

The contract will be given to an organisation or a registered self-employed consultant with a UTR number. As a freelance worker, the consultant will be responsible for all tax liabilities and National Insurance or similar contributions. This contract will be issued by BYMT.
