03 July 2018 I know I often write with ever-more glowing tributes to BYMT concerts, but I simply cannot let last Sunday’s wonderful event go by without spelling out all the superlatives that I can think of! You know too that my congratulations are always sincere, and I can assure you that this is the case now!
It was just the most marvellous evening! The chosen programme was perfect, the orchestra played superbly, Amy was terrific, and Jonathan conducted and directed the orchestra magnificently! It was truly an incredible concert, both moving and exciting in equal amounts, once again proving that BYMT’s music making is in a class of its own! I can think of a few professional orchestras which would have liked to have played to this standard!
Please pass on my congratulations to Jonathan and all those involved in playing, training and organising the event. We are so lucky to have BYMT to provide such amazing entertainment for us!
28 June 2018 I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all involved in the concert at Langley Boys on Saturday. My son only joined a few weeks ago but has enjoyed the experience so much. I know an incredible amount of work must go in to organising an event such as this. The experience for a Year 5 child sitting between two Year 13's to perform the final two pieces was wonderful. The Y13's were inspirational and incredibly talented!
Thank you to everyone at BYMT for all you do.

13 June 2018 Just wanted to say thank you so much for yet another fantastic Infant Song Festival. It's always such a lovely, relaxed day and the children always come back to school absolutely buzzing with excitement and enthusiasm for all things music.
Looking forward to next year!

22 March 2018 Thank you so much for holding the Festival of Music.
I have been taking part in the 'prom' since 1996 and I think that the Festival of Music was the most enjoyable for teachers and children. Certainly, the children at Green Street Green loved the concert, both as participants and spectators.
As a teacher the Churchill Theatre provided an easier venue as it was accessible via public transport. The length of the rehearsal day and concert were shorter and easier to manage. I enjoyed the shorter concert but felt it could of perhaps being a little longer. I thought it was lovely for the massed choirs to start and finish the evening as well. Bravo!
However, nothing more impresses me than the whole of the BYMT staff. Everyone was so helpful and willing to please at all times. They made the whole experience effortless and a joy.
Please do pass my thanks and congratulations to everyone.
23 February 2018 I have recently received my copy of the CD of the above concert. It really is a joy to listen to and makes me realise how lucky we are as grandparents to have family living in the Bromley area. Without that our grandson would not have had the benefit of such excellent tuition and experience which hopefully will lead to even better things when he moves on later this year. Despite that we will be happy to continue our support as patrons of BYMT as it must continue to provide such excellent service to the community.
I lent the CD to a friend who provides a report for the local paper of the events of the local music society, and I thought you would like to see his comments :-
" I have just finished listening to a CD of your memorable concert of 2 July 2017. I must say I was amazed at the standard of playing particularly in Tchaikovsky’s very demanding Pathétique Symphony.
You must be very proud of your young players. I only wish Chipping Sodbury Town Hall was big enough to accommodate you all for a future concert.
With very best wishes
Chipping Sodbury Music Society."
14 November 2017 What an amazing weekend of music! Big thanks to you, Mr Rowe and everyone involved starting with the brass performance masterclass on Friday, Saturday band rehearsals (pretty much all day I think for my three), a fabulous BYCB/XBY concert at Ravens Wood in the evening, on Sunday a very moving chamber brass group at Beckenham Memorial for Remembrance parade and finishing up at the Southbank Centre later in the day for the London Jazz Festival. What a wonderful experience for our young people (and their parents!). Thank you all for attending and supporting – and Len too, always great to see him. I feel it’s a great privilege for us all to be involved with BYMT – and for me, personally, a real sense that this is all drawing to a close too fast!!
